03 / From possibility to practice
Seven questions, three minutes.
You tell me what you do and what eats your week. Before you give me an email, you see a preliminary read on screen: the two or three places AI most likely fits your answers, and a rough number of hours at stake.
A written map of where AI fits your week.
Not a tool list. A short document: which tasks, in what order, with what, and what each one saves. Scoped and priced before anything starts. If the honest answer is 'AI won't help much here', that's what the plan says.
You at the keyboard, me beside you.
We set up the first two or three, in person in Chicago or over a screen. You'll understand every piece that's running and why. Nothing is a black box, and nothing depends on me being around.
Documented, yours, done.
Everything is written down in plain language. If you want more later, we scope more. If you don't, you don't hear from me again — there's no subscription, no dependency, no upsell.

No. You need to know your own work — what you do every week and which parts you'd hand off tomorrow. The technical part is mine. You'll be at the keyboard when we set things up so you understand what's running, but you won't be writing code.
The audit is free and stays free. Everything after it is scoped per engagement — a fixed price for a defined plan, agreed before any work starts. No retainers, no subscriptions, nothing that renews without you noticing.
Whatever actually fits. Usually a mix: an assistant like Claude or ChatGPT set up around your specific work, a couple of small automations for the repetitive handoffs, and occasionally something purpose-built. I don't sell software, so there's no incentive to push a tool you don't need.
We decide together what goes where before anything is set up. Anything sensitive stays in tools with the right privacy terms, or stays out of AI entirely. You'll know exactly what data touches which system, in plain language.
Yes. I'm based in Chicago and happy to sit down with you. Most work also runs perfectly well remotely, so location isn't a constraint either way.
